XLPE/FRNC motor power supply cable, halogen-free, screened
Control and Electronic Cables
These double screened 2XSL(St)CH-J cables were designed as supply and connecting cables, for medium mechanical stress, for fixed installation and occasionally non-guided movements, in dry and damp rooms, especially where human life or valuable property are exposed to a high risk of fire hazards. Double screening considerably improves electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in buildings and plants.
Design
This product consists of:
- 1Bare copper conductors, fine wires class 5 according to DIN EN 60228 / VDE 0295 / IEC 60228
- 2Core insulation of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
- 3Cores are stranded together with optimal lay-length
- 4Plastic tape separation (optional)
- 5Plastic bonded aluminium tape and tinned copper wire braiding
- 6Outer sheath of special flame retardant non-corrosive compound (FRNC), clolour: black (RAL 9005)

Temperature range:
- Conductor temperature: max. 90°C
- Fixed installation: -30°C up to 80°C
- Flexible use: -5°C up to 70°C
